Thank you for giving me a time to think and remember what a good life I had when I was a child. These photos have brought back good memories where we were allowed to play out without any worries, not like today where parents do not let the children explore and make their own fun.
I lived in Whitehawk from 1956 to 1985 when our house was demolished. To see pictures of the football pitches where I spent most of my early life playing and the schools I attended from infants to seniors was uplifting. I couldn't quite see my house in any picture but I lived in Twineham Road which had St. Cuthberts Church on the corner. Some good memories, thank you.
