The text on the back of this image reads as follows: "From a lithograph by R. Canton, after F.E. Morrell. The Wellsbourn, a stream which flowed through the Steine, reached the sea via Pool Valley. Now underground. Left centre is Wood's baths kept by Mrs Creak. Cowley's Bun Shoppe - 18th century shop which is still intact."
